Sometimes, in old homes, there are all these nooks and crannies that just get missed when people are leaving the building. That means that occasionally, something is left behind that we’re almost positive would eventually be missed.

It’s terribly scary finding a jar of somebody’s dentures, for sure. Especially if they’re found in the house walls, we’re not sure what’s going on, but maybe they need to check in with the previous house owners?

Basements and crawl spaces are just naturally creepy and offer a little bit of a haunted vibe, as well. It doesn’t matter what you find in them. Those little crawl spaces are dark, damp, and mysterious.

But if we were these people, and we found bones in one of those? That would be it for us; there’d definitely be some talking done with the real estate agent!

The truth is, we never really know who our neighbors are. They could be kindhearted and loving people. Or, they could be crazy people who document every waking hour of our lives in small little notebooks and leave them for the next owner to find.

We might take a look at these notebooks, though, just to see who our neighbors actually are. Then, we would throw them away; this just seems a little obsessive and very creepy!

One of the most amazing things about purchasing a new home is exploring all the nooks and crannies and discovering everything about the house. That being said, if we walked into our attic, and this is what we found, we might turn around and leave quickly.

Not sure what was going on here, but it definitely looks like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and we’re just not up for it!

The law states that real estate agents must tell you if somebody passes away in the home. But we’re not sure this real estate agent really needed to tell the new homeowner what had happened here, thanks to this lovely imprint on the floor.

We’re not overly superstitious. However, we’re sure that if this is what we saw when we walked into the house, there’d definitely be some cleansing and maybe even a blessing necessary before we actually moved in.

It’s one thing to walk into a room and be greeted with horrible furniture or paint on the walls but to flip on the switch and see this, would be terrifying! After seeing this, we’d definitely have to think twice before we invest in this home.

It’s evident what type of interior designer the previous house owner was, due to this horrific and creepy light fixture! At least the walls aren’t black!

It’s a wonderful thing to find creepy dolls or strange interiors but it’s another thing to find a living, breathing, terrifying monster. This would be one of those moments when you walk into a room, and then you walk right back out, immediately reaching for your phone.

This is terrifying, and the fact that there are all those little babies makes it even creepier. It’s time to dial the Orkin man for sure!

When a loved one passes away, one of the worst things you have to do is to go into their home and clean it out. Not only because you’ll be diving through memories but because you really get a good look at exactly who that loved one was.

We only wonder why no one had come to visit him before to help him out with these cobwebs. It had to be scary for him to live there, too. It was probably almost as scary as it was for this poor guy to clean it up.

Dolls are just creepy all by themselves! But if they’re older dolls with that antique look and are found in our home, riding a duck like this, it makes them even creepier. On top of that, look at those eyes. It’s almost as if she’s staring into your soul!

This would be finding its way to the trash can as fast as possible. Maybe with a little splash of holy water to seal the deal!

When you’re in college, you take whatever you can get. You have limited funds, and you’re trying to make sure you have your own space instead of living in the dorms, so we can understand why someone might overlook a certain level of creep factor.

Though we’re not sure we’d be able to overlook a baby’s tombstone in the basement, we could understand how this person tried. We just hope he got a good deal on the rent!

Art is something that is very personal when it comes to likes and dislikes. Some really dig the macabre, and others dig the more cheerful. But in the end, we’re not sure who really appreciates this piece of artwork.

Finding this in our home would terrify us, especially if it’s a home we inherited from our grandmother. This would definitely make us question grandma’s taste.

Many people make money nowadays by buying old houses, fixing them, and flipping them for a return on their investment. One of the best things to do is to find old homes and really dive deep, but sometimes you get more than you bargained for.

For instance, if we saw this, we might seriously reconsider purchasing the house. After all, who wants cat skeletons and a headless Santa staring at them while they’re trying to remodel?

When you’re traveling, you get to sleep in many new places, and some of those places come with very odd decorations. We don’t know who this person was staying with, but one thing is for sure: they had an interesting idea of what counts as art.

No matter how gracious they were by offering to let us stay in their home, even if it was to save a little bit of money, if we saw this, we’d kindly find a local hostel and book a room.

Nowadays, many people go to tattoo removal places, and it’s as simple as a few sessions to get rid of the unwanted ink. But they didn’t have that option back in the old days, apparently! It looks like it was a lot more painful and a little more creepy to get a tattoo removed.

Though we’re not sure why you’d want to keep a tattoo that you were having removed, it’s kind of a unique find. Gross and a little creepy, but definitely a unique find!

Millions of houses all over Europe have been abandoned and left to decay. Many people love to go into them and take a look or even purchase them and remodel them.

Though this is a very creepy statue, we also wonder if it’s a priceless piece of art by one of the classic Italian sculptors. It could turn out to be creepy but lucrative!

Whenever you buy a house, there’s bound to be some sort of insects or bugs around. Especially if you purchase one out in the middle of nowhere, you often have to install traps and stuff to get the house ready to live in.

But glue traps are only supposed to catch small things, and this is not a small thing. If we were this person, we’d be waiting for someone to remove this. We wouldn’t go anywhere near that!

There are a lot of parents and families out there that like to keep mementos of people as they grow up. Sometimes these are simple things like cards or pictures, and apparently, other times, it seems to be teeth.

Though we’re not sure where these teeth came from, and we’d definitely be eyeing grandma a little suspiciously, it’s not as bad as some things they could have found. Right?

It’s one thing to find creepy dolls and strange pictures, but things that could go boom are definitely something that would creep us out. Who keeps military ordnance like this in their house, and where did they get it?

We’re not sure where this house is located, but maybe it was in some sort of war zone during one of the big wars. That would be the only way we would accept finding this in a home we just bought.

There are many things wrong with finding this grenade lying around a home being inspected. The first is that it was even there, and the second is that it was left there while they repainted the room.

We’d have serious questions about the homeowners who chose to simply airbrush over the top of a grenade that still looks like it could be used.

Strange and creepy don’t often collide with this type of occurrence. The fact that this plane engine hurtled itself into a neighbor’s house would have scared us to death. How no one was injured, is beyond us.

Even stranger, still, is the fact that the person just left it hanging out on the wall. Maybe they were waiting for someone to inspect it before figuring out how to patch that hole up?

Sometimes when you buy a new home, the first thing you want to do is get in there and make it your own. This means a lot of renovations, sometimes tearing walls down to either re-panel or fix things within them.

This little guy looks creepy and seems to have been there for quite a long time. We only wonder how nobody realized there was something dead in the walls because, clearly, this had to have some sort of smell.

Sometimes, people fall on hard times and struggle to pay the rent. This can send them into depression and almost have them become a shut-in, in their own homes. Maybe that’s what happened to this poor guy?

Though we can understand the feelings and emotions, we can’t understand how someone could live in that kind of condition. After all, that had to be pretty stinky after a while.

Occasionally, when you go to someone’s house, you’ll see a bug. No matter how clean their house is, sometimes things get in and there’s no telling how. But if we went to our girlfriend’s house and this is what we saw, we’d be a little unnerved.

In fact, if it were us, we’d probably just suggest that we hang out at our place instead. After all, nobody wants to deal with that!

There’s something to be said for art that is provocative. Many people enjoy pieces that make some sort of statement about culture and society, but we’re not sure this is doing that.

We’re sure that if we saw this as part of the wall decorations, we’d definitely want to find a different room to work in. After all, this is clearly a little unnerving, and we’d be afraid of being watched the whole time.

Sometimes when you purchase a new home, there’s a lot of work to be done, including doing a little work on the foundation. But because, frequently, these houses have been built over areas where people have potentially passed away, you may find something like this.

Just because it’s a known possibility, that doesn’t mean it’s any less creepy or frightening to find. We’d just hope that’s the only bone they found!

Sometimes, the creepy and strange things you find in your home aren’t in your home but around it. Just because you live in an apartment complex doesn’t mean there aren’t strange things to be seen lying around.

There are so many questions that we have about this duct-taped man just lying around. We hope this was something for a Halloween decoration, and this is just the leftovers after the holiday is over.

The last thing we want to think about is our grandparents getting romantic or being in any type of frisky mood. So we can understand why someone who found this book in their grandmother’s house would be a little disturbed.

Why was this book even made? And why did grandma have it in her house? These questions will remain unanswered for this person for the rest of their lives.

A lot of homes have basements in them, and sometimes, in those basements, you can find strange little rooms in them. This is creepy enough in and of itself, but the previous owner thought that door needed to be blocked and we wonder why…

For us, the creepiest and most haunted aspect of this house wasn’t that there was a door but what happened that they felt it needed to be blocked?!

Attics, like basements, are just really scary situations. Especially when you’re just getting into a new home, and it’s an older one, you can always bet that something in the attic will give you a bit of the creeps.

That, coupled with the natural creepy vibes of an old-timey baby carriage, gives you a perfect setup for the beginnings of any horror movie.

There’s just something about old dolls that give you the haunted house vibe, no matter what type of doll it is. This one definitely does because the first thing we thought of was that awful horror movie Monkey Shine.

Why was this ever a thing that kids would play with?! Even when this was brand new, we’re pretty positive it was creepy!

Old pictures can be a great way to reminisce about the way life used to be. But sometimes, they fade after a while and can become very scary.

That, coupled with a little message from whoever left the picture behind, will give us many sleepless nights. “Do you see him?” No, and to tell you the truth, we really don’t want to see him! Do you?

Many people use rooms in their basements for a whole wealth of different things. Sometimes, they’re used as bedrooms, and other times, they can be offices. Very few, though, have this type of creepy corner in the basement.

We’re not sure what was happening here, but something tells us there were people in the house between the last owner and this renter. If not, it’s time to ask those owners some questions!

We’re not sure what never stops, but one thing is definite: we don’t want to find out! We definitely wouldn’t have gone any further in the contract signing, on this one, once we saw that.

Many people like to paint as a way to relax. For those that are really good at it, this can even become a career. And for those that aren’t as good, you can leave behind a wonderfully creepy portrait for the next person who lives in your house.

This is really an abstract piece, and we’re sure they didn’t intend on it being this creepy. Or if they did, they did a really good job!

Old apartment buildings can be just as creepy as Victorian houses, especially when you start exploring the common areas like the basement or the roof. Most of the time, the roof will be pretty safe, but we’re definitely sure something in that basement will be creepy.

Maybe not as creepy as this handprint on the outside of the door, but definitely creepy. Not sure what happened here, but it looks like a great opening for this guy to tell some pretty crazy stories.

After a loved one has passed away, estate sales are a way that many people can make money to repay debts. In these estate sales, you can find amazing treasures, and you can also find some creepy dolls.

This doll doesn’t look like something a child should play with, and we just hope that none did. Otherwise, that kid probably had nightmares forever and wasn’t able to ever watch Chucky.

Abandoned houses sometimes go into disarray, and homeless people find their way into them. Along with that, kids get in there to pull pranks and do crazy things. So we’re sure that’s what happened in this case.

Even though we know how this came about, it still doesn’t make it any less creepy nor take away from the haunted feel of this derelict home.

Ouija boards are pivotal points in a wealth of different horror stories and movies. That’s because they’re intended to contact spirits from beyond the grave, and that’s always a great way to start off a horror movie.

It’s also a creepy way to start out cleaning out your new basement. Finding something like this would have us thinking about exorcizing the house before moving in. At the very least, a good spiritual cleansing should be done. That way, nothing is left behind to start trouble!

Many people are fascinated with serial killers and are intrigued by these monsters, trying to explain why they did what they did. Many of them would kill to have a piece of memorabilia like this.

One thing’s for sure, this person’s grandparents are probably happy they didn’t call the number on that card. After all, things could have gone horribly wrong if they had picked up the phone!

Most of the time, when we talk about haunted and creepy things being found in the home, it’s in the interior. But there are some people who aren’t afraid to let their creepy flag fly, and this family is one of them!

The only thing we can hope for is this was for Halloween and isn’t a year-round design choice! If it is year-round, this is the house that all the kids always stay away from!

Sometimes, it’s not necessarily what you see but rather what you don’t see that makes something super creepy. The fact that this memory card was taped to look like there was nothing there must mean there’s something pretty interesting on it.

We would be cautious when we uploaded it, but we’d definitely upload it to see what was sitting on this little goldmine! Don’t judge us, you would look too!

People often have weird occurrences when they come home to find that things aren’t where they left them. This can be explained pretty easily as simply being a little absent-minded when they were leaving.

But coming home to a photocopy of this, which we’re not sure what it is but it could be anything from someone’s face to the inside of their mouth, would creep us out.

Many people have a lot of strange hobbies, and that’s okay. After all, who are we to judge? We’re sure that some of the hobbies that we all have look strange to other people, too. But this one, in particular, seems to be begging for a conversation.

One thing is for sure: we’ll be looking for a new house elsewhere. Or be very adamant about making friends with this very odd person.

Sometimes, when marriages begin to flounder, one person thinks the other may be stepping out on them. This sparks all kinds of paranoia, which may lead to them doing some pretty interesting things.

Though it’s a little bit of a voyeuristic thing to do, we’d definitely listen to the tapes because they’re there. On the other hand, it’s creepy that the guy kept it for 20 years.

When you have a new home, you want to ensure you can keep your family safe. That’s why many people invest in home security systems and cameras so they can monitor everything when they’re away.

But this is one heck of an alarm system. We’re not sure what was happening here, but we’d definitely be a little alarmed if we shut the door and turned around to see this!

Trypophobia is an irrational fear or aversion to protrusions, repetitive patterns, holes, and things like that. It may sound strange, but it’s a real problem that a lot of people have, and let’s be honest — there’s a phobia for just about everything, and almost everyone is deathly afraid of something that can’t really hurt them. In this article, we’ll show some of the things that have creeped out individuals with trypophobia. On that note, we’d recommend skipping this one if you are such an individual yourself!

Let’s be real here — mold is often pretty gross to look at even if you don’t have trypophobia. But, if you do have it, then it’s many times worse. We’re not sure what kind of mold we’re looking at here, but even without a special aversion to it, our skin is crawling.

For one, that seems to be a health hazard, so it should probably be gotten rid of anyway, troubling visuals notwithstanding. Throw it away and be done with it!

As the person who made this post states, we have no idea what type of eggs these are. But, when you think about how most eggs are spherical or ovular in shape, and the fact that insects tend to lay a lot of very tiny ones, it makes sense that most insect eggs would be a problem for those with trypophobia.

We honestly feel for them — imagine feeling anxious, troubled, or just grossed out by patterns that are pretty easy to find in the world. We can’t say we envy having to live in that sort of situation!

This is another example of something that should make your skin crawl even if you don’t have trypophobia. We’re not sure how long those beans have been sitting there, or what on this Earth is growing on them or in them, but it’s gross.

You’d think someone with this phobia would be hyper-aware of potential places that mold could grow and that they wouldn’t leave beans in a situation where they could ultimately end up looking like this.

Honestly, there’s something just a little creepy about Lotus root, even without trypophobia. It kind of makes us think of spiders, in a way. Maybe it’s the color or the giant holes. Either way, it’s obvious why this would bother individuals with the phobia in question.

We’re sure the presence of a smaller Lotus root within the big one doesn’t help the situation any. After all, that’s twice the number of holes and a more complex pattern!

To be honest, we actually think these mushrooms are quite unique and interesting. Even pretty, almost. However, we don’t have trypophobia, so we can definitely understand why said mushrooms would strike others as despicable or unsettling.

It just goes to show that nothing is universal. What one person sees as beauty, another person may see only disgust or vice versa. It’s kind of crazy how the human mind works, isn’t it?

You really don’t realize how alien some things look within our own world. For instance, this beech orange mushroom almost looks like some sort of fictional fruit than something you can actually find in the real world, but nevertheless, you can.

Of course, these oddly alien-looking ‘oranges’ are something that people with trypophobia would rather do without, we’re sure. That is kind of the point of this article, after all.

The commute to work doesn’t seem like it would be too much trouble if you had trypophobia, but if you ended up stuck behind certain vehicles, that may not be the case. Just take a look at this truck.

With all of those holes in a tightly patterned setup, we can see how that would bother a lot of people. Honestly, it makes us uncomfortable just to drive behind things like that anyway — technically trucks are safer than cars most of the time, but it’s still troubling.

The pattern on this toad’s back is there for a very special reason, but we’re sure that doesn’t help people with trypophobia in any way. By the way, it actually gives birth from back there. That’s what troubles us regardless.

We don’t know if it just keeps the eggs back there or what, but the whole thing does look pretty gnarly and gross regardless. It does look a little troubling regardless of whether or not you have trypophobia.

If you really look at bread, you’ll notice that there tends to be a whole lot of holes in them. They tend to be very tiny holes, but if you have trypophobia, that might be more than enough to trouble you. Do individuals with said phobia dislike bread, for the most part?

At the very least, we imagine that they would dislike this Ethiopian Injera bread, for obvious reasons. Heck, it looks pretty weird no matter how you feel, though it probably still tastes good.

We perfectly understand why this image would trouble anyone — there’s a Croc in it, after all. Oh, but of course the weird seashell pattern makes it even less appealing if you have trypophobia.

Then again, Crocs already have a whole bunch of holes in them, so even without that seashell thing going on, this would probably be problematic for one with trypophobia anyway. Then again, it’s an affront to fashion regardless.

We… don’t actually know what we’re looking at here. It looks kind of like a strawberry, but we’re pretty sure that strawberries don’t do that. At least, we don’t think they do, but we’re not exactly experts.

One way or another, it looks a little weird, and probably even somewhat frightening for someone with trypophobia. Could you even eat this, or would you just have to throw it away? Can you pick out those weird growths and be alright?

We’re not experts on avian animals, but these feathers do look a little odd to us. We can’t really say why they look like this, though presumably, it’s a normal thing. But if you have trypophobia, this tightly patterned feather ensemble would be bothersome.

But hey, pigeons already kind of suck, so it’s not like you really need any more of a reason to get away from them. They are like flying rats, after all, so what else do you need?

Do you even need to have trypophobia to be bothered by a wasp nest like this? In fact, does anyone need a reason to be troubled by a wasp nest? They are terrifying regardless. But we suppose if you did have trypophobia, you would feel even more unsettled by the sight.

We’re not sure why the wasps built a nest like this. Apparently, it had something to do with building it on Pyrex. One way or another, it’s not something we would want to be close to.

What’s sad about having trypophobia is that there are some beautiful things that you really can’t appreciate. For instance, the roof of this tomb is very artistic and beautiful, but if you have trypophobia, you probably aren’t going to see it that way.

It’s a shame when you think about it. Like we said earlier, imagine having to live with something like that when there’s so much of it in the world to bother you.

We had no idea that you could apparently eat so much sour candy that you could shed a layer off your tongue. Like, what? How? Wouldn’t your tongue be in pain or numb long before you hit this point? We’ve had sour candy before, and we feel that we would notice before part of our tongue came off.

How do you heal from that anyway? Is it even skin? We’re not exactly sure what’s going on here, but it does seem pretty gross, trypophobia or not.

As you may have determined by reading this list so far, a lot of things that bother those with trypophobia are actually just creepy in general. Like this skull that has limestone growing on it. You don’t need trypophobia to think it’s creepy.

But, if you did have that phobia, this would definitely be a hundred times worse. It kind of sucks, because in some sense, this skull is actually kind of interesting.

This is literally just a picture of an opened can. But admittedly, there’s something very strange about the way these bubbles are sitting in a tight, little formation. That’s very odd and doesn’t happen too often.

But considering that bubbles often tend to be a big pattern of holes or something, we imagine that a lot of people with trypophobia would just look away from the can and ignore them unless they chose to just never drink anything that was carbonated.

Our biggest question in regards to this weird spider-eyed elephant is simple — why? Why was it made? Whose idea was this? Technically, it’s not bad, but someone had to go out of their way to design this intentionally, and we’re not sure why.

This would definitely be a problem for anyone with trypophobia, especially kids who probably don’t even understand their fears and why they are afraid of it. It’s kind of unsettling.

Most people like pizza, but few really know how things look before the final product is in their oven or on their table. Pizza dough, for instance, looks very weird when it’s raw. Unsettling even. Just look at this.

This raw pizza dough looks weirdly like it has something to do with spiders. Almost like an egg or a nest or something. Just try not to think about it the next time you’re eating pizza. Do yourself a favor and all that.

Ticks — no one likes them. And like we mentioned before, insect eggs have all the right properties to bother someone with trypophobia. So, just imagine a big tick and a whole bunch of eggs. Ew!

Apparently, ticks can actually remain dormant for a very long period of time and lay a ton of eggs even if they haven’t eaten for some time. Aren’t ticks just the worst? You don’t even need trypophobia to hate them and their eggs.

This statue is pretty amazing if you don’t have trypophobia, but if you do, it’s probably quite hard to appreciate. After all, there’s a lot of holes and weird patterns on it. It’s something that many would see as beautiful, but not others.

No matter what object is in question, not everyone views the world around them the same way. That’s just the way it is. Everyone has their own unique understanding of the world, as well as what does and doesn’t bother them.

It’s weird to think about, but if you have trypophobia, then even this otherwise cute picture of a dog that ran through the snow can send shivers up your spine. Almost seems like an inconceivable reaction to have, doesn’t it?

And yet, that’s the reality for some people. Of course, it’s not like the dog is actually triggering their trypophobia, but still. Even cuteness like that can be overpowered when your phobia kicks in and causes problems for you.

This is a pipe full of barnacles, that’s all. But even if it’s technically something particularly mundane, it still looks quite hellish. It definitely doesn’t look like something you would want to put your hand in. That said, barnacles are harmless, at least in the sense that they won’t attack a person like a predator.

If you have trypophobia, on the other hand, they can cause harm simply by the way they look. Honestly, this sight is pretty unsettling no matter who you are, though it’s also kind of neat.

Lightning tends to interact with trees in a variety of destructive ways. Usually, it involves setting them on fire and splitting them in two. Apparently though, lightning can also turn trees into spaghetti, or at least something that looks a lot like spaghetti.

Frankly, we’re not sure how this kind of thing happens, but we do know that it would be very troubling for anyone with trypophobia. It’s a very strange pattern, after all!

This statue is very impressive from an architectural point of view and even makes for a nice piece of art. But, it goes without saying that you might have a problem with it if you get triggered by holes in patterns. It has quite a lot of that, after all.

We suppose that people with trypophobia just avert their gaze when they come across things like this. Or maybe they can look at it, but just don’t like the way it makes them feel. Either way, it’s unfortunate.

Seashells are often viewed as very pretty, whimsical things. That feeling may not persist if you have trypophobia, depending on what type of seashell you’re looking at. For instance, this one probably wouldn’t sit very well with you.

Some people might say that a fear of something like this is silly, but remember, there’s also a fear of ducks, navels, and even fear of fear itself. So really, is any particular fear more silly than the other? We’ve all got things we’re scared of, or just don’t like.

When people envision a beehive, the image in their head is usually a small, ovular-type object hanging from a tree. We’ve all seen a cartoon or two with a beehive in it, and that’s usually what we imagine. But in the wild, bees can really go to town on their home.

Just look at this thing. It’s massive! Gargantuan even! We’re honestly surprised that this hive didn’t get so large that the bees split into new hives, which happens sometimes when the population gets too big. Either way, it’s definitely both unsettling and intriguing.

Birds and many other animals like to store nuts in holes. It’s a good way to keep them situated and lets the animal secure them so they can go look for other nuts. But, at the same time, such practices could create something pretty unsettling for those with trypophobia.

We suppose they could go out there and pull all the nuts out, but that would just be worse, no? Not to mention a pretty rude thing to do to that bird who’s just trying to live.

If you keep your own bees, you usually use frames to dictate how the bees should build their hive. Without such frames, bees are likely to create something entirely different. If you don’t have trypophobia, maybe you’d like that. If you do, maybe not.

On one hand, this is pretty artistic and interesting, but at the same time, it’s a very unusual pattern that’s made up of a bunch of small holes, so anyone with trypophobia would probably hate it.

We’ll admit that we aren’t very knowledgeable about sushi. We don’t know how to make it and certainly can’t say for certain whether or not it’s supposed to look like this. But even from a layman’s perspective, there’s something about it that looks wrong, isn’t there?

We’re not quite sure what it is, but if you had trypophobia, it would probably be pretty easy to place your finger on the thing that’s bothering you here. It’s pretty obvious, after all.

Lots of things are used for packaging fragile objects, and honestly, we’re not sure if any of them would be liked by someone with trypophobia. Bubble wrap has holes and patterns. Styrofoam peanuts don’t need to be explained. And, of course, you have the cardboard packing material.

All in all, getting a package in the mail must be a mixed experience for a trypophobe. You get excited about the arrival of something you want, then get creeped out by the packing material. Mixed feelings at their finest.

We aren’t in the business of running around and looking inside the mouths of animals, but really, it’s kind of odd how few people know what animal mouths really look like. Cows are actually a pretty common domestic animal, so why is this knowledge so rare?

More importantly, why do cows have mouths like this? We’re sure there’s a perfectly viable scientific explanation for it that makes sense, but we don’t know what that might be. Kind of creepy, one way or another.

Have you ever looked at the inside of a pepper, and seen those weird clusters of seeds that they have? A trypophobe would probably not like those very much, for obvious reasons. Heck, they are kind of weird when you think about it.

It just goes to show — even small things can be a cause for concern or alarm when you have a certain phobia. Never knock what someone else feels if you can’t really understand it. A lot of feelings and fears really don’t make sense, but there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

Not all sandstone looks like this, but unfortunately for those with trypophobia, some of it does. And when it does, that probably rubs them the wrong way, as this particular individual stated. You know how it goes — too many holes in one place.

We do wonder, though, does just touching things like this trigger trypophobia as well? If you closed your eyes and touched it blindly, would it even bother you? We’re curious!

Here we have another mushroom that trypophobes probably wouldn’t like. We’re not even sure if we like it. It’s kind of majestic and unique in a way, but at the same time, there’s something unsettling about it. We can’t really place our finger on it.

The real question is, would such a mushroom be safe to eat? Usually, things that are this flamboyant are not meant to be consumed, but you never know.

Have you ever stumbled onto something that you just couldn’t really identify? Well, here’s an example — if anyone knows what this thing is, we would actually be quite grateful. Needless to say, it strikes us as a pretty uncommon existence.

Of course, it’s also an existence that a trypophobe probably wouldn’t like. Can’t say that’s a surprise, considering how it looks. Seriously, what is this thing?

If you want to know how bad trypophobia really is, consider this — you can’t even enjoy pancakes! Or rather, you can’t enjoy looking at pancakes. Maybe if you blindfold yourself it wouldn’t be that much of a problem.

Still, the fact that you can’t even enjoy looking at a pancake is probably something most people would rather not have to deal with. Having trypophobia seems like it really sucks.

Most of us know what a sunflower looks like, but few of us know what a sunflower looks like without its seeds. Well, know you can have that information. If it bothers you, you may have trypophobia. You know, just maybe.

The real thing is, who goes out of their way to pick seeds out of a sunflower? Or is that the actual process of getting a bag of sunflower seeds? We’re not actually sure if that’s the case. Either way, it seems like a grueling process.

Most of us have encountered a wall or structure with a surface like this before. Some people may like it, while it’s obvious why a trypophobe would probably have an issue with it. Heck, touching those walls is unpleasant even without trypophobia.

After all, you can’t really rub your hands on them, unless you plan on scraping yourself along the way. We suppose some people might be into that, but we are not those people.

Considering the fact that we are not expert cooks, we can’t say with certainty why you would need tools with holes this big in them. Too let liquid drain when grabbing something that was sitting in it, we guess. But for a trypophobe, we imagine these don’t sit well with them.

That’s a shame, because strainers and stuff like that certainly have a lot of value in the kitchen, so having an issue with them probably isn’t very conducive to a good cooking experience.

We can’t help but agree, stranger on the internet. Why on Earth would anyone feel the need to make a pretzel-shaped strawberry? Really, who would unleash such chaos and evil on the world? We just can’t fathom it.

We suppose if you like strawberries, this may actually seem like a perfectly viable thing to enjoy, but still, does it really have to be in the shape of a pretzel? We just can’t see any justification, other than wanting to watch the world burn.

Flan is a weird dessert, honestly. It looks both appealing and unappetizing at the same time, and it’s hard to say why. Well, if you have trypophobia, it’s actually pretty easy to say why, we suppose. Just look at it.

What even is a flan? It’s such a weird-looking dessert. Who named it that, and why? These are all questions that we feel are suitable to ask, though a quick search on the internet would probably answer most of them if you needed to have those answers.

A lot of computers have something like this on them — usually, this is so it can vent heat and prevent things inside of the computer from getting too hot, which is kind of important. But if you have trypophobia, you probably wish this was all situated in the back where you couldn’t see it.

We’re not sure if stripes would actually be any better, honestly. Is there any sort of exhaust setup that wouldn’t bother a trypophobe? It’s really unclear.

Bread is pretty awesome. So, imagine if you had a phobia that stopped you from enjoying bread, at least in the sense that you wouldn’t be able to look at it without feeling a little icky. It must be terrible to feel that way about bread of all things.

Maybe there are certain types of bread that don’t have as many holes or patterns or anything to worry about. It would probably be best for trypophobes to deal with that kind of bread instead.

There are times when the imagination of a child is a very beautiful thing. And then there are times when their imagination is kind of frightening. This drawing is our case in point.

We get that the kid was trying to depict something real (the holes his hair comes out of, we think?), but the exaggeration his mind put into it made the whole thing a lot more frightening and uncomfortable.
